- Mind map around your chosen theme (within Structures) ie. Nature, Fragmentation, Architecture etc. Include ideas, artists you have found, techniques/materials you may wish to explore. Include visual images (mood board) on your mind map.
- From your list of six artists, narrow down to two artists and look further into their work. Make notes on their artistic history, techniques, work you are interested in, your likes and dislikes.
HOMEWORK To be completed by Wednesday 8th February:
- One completed artist study, including examples of their work and your own interpretation of their work based on your chosen theme.

ART: Next week you will begin observational drawings in various materials, so please bring in any items that you feel will be beneficial for your chosen theme. I have feathers, shells and a skull that can be used.

PHOTOGRAPHY: Next week you will begin to plan your first photo shoot around your chosen theme. This may include a studio session, or a location shoot. Please consider how you can use your time in class affectively and bring in any props/models you may need for you photo shoot. The studio is booked 3.30-4.30 on Wednesday and 9-10.30 on Thursday. Arrangements can be made to book at other times if needed.
